See AllBudget Queen Internal Our Budget Queen rooms offer a comfortable queens size bed, lounge area with flat screen TV, bar fridge and writing desk. The bathroom is equipped with shampoo, condition, soap and all towels. This room is located on the first floor and only accessible via a staircase. This rooms has a cosy feel due to there being no window directly to the outside, but a skylight provides wonderful light.Henry Hunter Suite Room size: 60 m²These spacious suites features a king-sized bed, genuine antique furniture, an en suite bathroom and a large seating area.They are our premier suites and are both located on the first floor of the hotel, only accessible via a staircase.Queen Heritage Twin Room size: 40 m²This spacious room located on our Ground level, features Queen size and Single ensemble beds. There is also a two seat fold out Sofa Bed. To accentuate the space further, the room has a four metre high ceiling. Old Style rope pulley windows supply fresh air direct to the room.Victorian Suite Room size: 40 m². This spacious suite features a king-sized bed, genuine antique furniture and an en suite bathroom. A lovely seating area is also provided. All the usual inclusions are available: tea and coffee making facilities, towels, linen, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and toiletries. Overlooking Macquarie Street this room has double glazed windows for a peaceful nights sleep. This suite is located on the first floor and is only accessible via a staircase.Solo Traveller / Corporate Room Room size: 20m² Double bed, Shower, Toilet, Vanity Unit and Desk.This room offers the perfect space and facilities for the solo or Corporate traveler.Double Glazed window for City glimpses and direct fresh air.Children cannot be accommodated in this room type.Family Queen Suite Room size: 70m2. Our Family suite has two bedrooms with an ensuite off the main bedroom for use by both rooms. The main bedroom has a Queen Size bed and the extra bedroom has one Queen size bed and 3 x Single ensembles. The two rooms also share a centre space with 2 x Desks, tea coffee making facilities and a microwave.Each Bedroom has Reverse Cycle Air Conditioning and a flat screen TV. The mini fridge is located in the main room.The front heritage windows are also double glazed (can be opened) to provide for a great night's sleep. The Macquarie Hobart, a Heritage Listed property, was originally the residence of Hobart's princial Doctor, Dr Richard Stonehewer Bright. It was designed by the acclaimed architect Henry Hunter who was repsonsible for many notable Churches and Government Buildings in Hobart CBD. As part of its history, The Macquarie Hobart also served as the Head Ofiice of the Royal Automobile Club of Tasmania.
